1.How is your massage different?

We use medical therapeutic massage therapy using a combination of therapeutic types of massage therapy to treat the source of your pain. We don’t rub where it hurts, but instead find and treat the cause of your pain. In most cases with soft tissue pain, the source of your pain may be far away from where you feel the pain. With over 27 years of advanced training and experience we are able to address chronic painful issues such as scoliosisshoulder painneck painhip painfoot pain and many other painful issues.

2. What should I expect to happen during my first session?

Before your first session we will email you a link to submit your health information. When you arrive we will review your health information and assess your condition. Then based on your assessment we develop a treatment plan based on your unique needs.

3. Why do you offer medical therapeutic massage sessions longer than one hour?

The additional time allows us to be more specific and precise with our medial therapeutic massage treatments using multiple types of massage therapy. Waiting for tissues to release and treating the source of the pain requires time to be thorough and effective for long term relief from chronic pain.

4. What do I wear for my medical therapeutic massage therapy session?

We recommend you wear your undergarments. For our clients receiving the more advanced types of massage in addition to undergarments, we recommend woman wear a sports bra or tee shirt and loose shorts and for men loose shorts. With the advanced therapy we will have the client stand up during the session for body reading to assess the progress of the session.

This reimbursement varies depending on your coverage, so please confirm before your visit. We do not file insurance, but are happy to provide treatment notes and a receipt for each session.
